I absolutely cannot understand people who say that Moffat uses Doctor Who as his own personal ego trip and disrespects the legacy of the show.
Not even counting the fact that he’s been a fan longer than most of us have been alive, this entire season has LITERALLY been a love letter to the Classic series spelled out in words a mile high. There have been more references, callbacks, homages, everything in this half a season alone than in the rest of New Who put together. Hate the man all you want, to my mind it’s hard to argue with the fact that this season leading up the anniversary has played with the vast and rich history of the show more than any other, adding a layer of depth that I find refreshing and absolutely fascinating.
And if a single one of you says a word about “rewriting the canon” I am going to remind you in tersely polite but no uncertain terms that A) there is no canon for Doctor Who and B) that is the entire point of this show.
I can run to catch up. Unlike some people, I haven’t got a history of smoking to wind me.
you make a fair point. I suppose i could always s,smoke a cigar if i get desperate. don’t even have to leave the apartment for that.
vaishino said: Don’t you do it. I will intercept and tackle you woman.

- greece is poor
- no one likes the uk go home
- everyone is gay
- everyone dresses like they are going to an anime convention
- there is singing i think?
- graham norton is commentating and he wants to kill everyone there
A BIG ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR EVERYONE WHO GOT THE DVD EARLY AND MANAGED TO KEEP ALL OF THAT A SECRET
